Design an AI feature for a video creators' platform offering royalty-free music, AI tools, and plugins for editing software.

I reviewed user feedback on Trustpilot, App Store, Reddit threads (r/VideoEditing, r/Filmmakers), and comments under YouTube tutorials. I identified 5 key pain points and estimated how well the platform addresses each.
The two biggest gaps:
— "Which track fits my video?" — Recommendations exist, but no preview on the user's video.
— "What did I use in that project?" — Download history exists, but no smart link between track and project.
| Pain Point | Artlist Coverage | Main Gap |
|---|---|---|
| Endless scrolling | ~70% | No analysis of uploaded video |
| Can't remember what I used | ~40% | No smart track↔project linking |
| AI promises much, delivers little | ~50% | No iterative dialogue |
| Don't know what to choose | ~30% | No preview on video & A/B |
| Every video from scratch | ~30% | No personal presets |
I looked at Luma, Runway, Pika, OpenArt, and Kling — AI tools for creators where new interaction patterns are being shaped. Neither gap is fully addressed by any platform.
"I can't remember what I used" — no one solves this.
"I don't know what to choose" — Luma Brainstorm comes closest: it helps articulate mood and direction. But it stops there — it doesn't analyze the user's video or match a specific track.
The gap: no platform offers video analysis + track matching + an explanation of why.
